Off we go. Packed up for a week of fun. Today we drive from Dallas to Hot Springs, AR. Weather is cloudy, cool with no rain. We stopped at the AR visitor center for a new state visited picture for the kids. Only delay was in Hot Springs. The hotel is new so the GPS had the old address. Hotel was on same road, so we just followed the street numbers.
Once in Hot Springs, we went to the Hot Springs Park observation tower, took some pictures by the springs. We then played Putt-Putt golf at a cool course. Lots of hills and tricks. To cap off the day, we ate at a great mexican place "La Hacendia". no, not the Dallas chain. food great, salsa sucked.
A great start to the week. Kids did great in car. Derek did some math homework and Abby started her journal. Shelley worked some Suduko.
