Today is our longest drive. It starts out with a line of showers crossing Memphis. It turns out that line of showers had unleashed >100 tornado's across MO over night. Lucky for us, it had passed before us.
On our way to MO, we stop in KY for lunch. I found this small town just over the KY boarder so we can get the kids another state visited picture. Definitely a small town diner (Brenda Cafe). People were nice but very stereotypical small town. In fact, during lunch a prision work crew (2 men) came in for lunch too. That was interesting....
Another intersting note, is that we crossed the very very tip of Illinois to get to KY. Our drive to the hotel was not to eventful, except we made a wrong turn near the hotel. The gps was delayed by all the buildings and bridges. We made it in time to go swimming and we ate dinner in hotel room before getting to bed.
Everyone is having fun and enjoying the different sites.
